During the day today I encountered the following error during agent installation of SCCM 2012 Windows Server machines 2003:
State message with TopicType 800 and TopicId {0D94311F-CB7B-4E73-94B1-75878081111C} has been sent to the FSPCcmSetup failed with error code 0x80004005
The error, the following Microsoft TechNote, is the lack of component BITS: The System Center 2012 Configuration Manager client installation fails when BITS is not installed (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2678905)
As indicated by the KB requires the presence of the Microsoft Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) version 2.5 or later on your system where you want to distribute the SCCM client 2012.
After Installing BITS component requires a reboot of the machine before you can proceed with the SCCM client installation.
